Reincarnated as a venue for live music, Splott Warehouse will reopen its doors for Day of the Dead this Halloween.<\/p>\n

The electronic event – one of the biggest of its scale – promises visual tricks ‘n’ treats, food, drink and music from heavyweights Netsky, Wilkinson, Mike Skinner and more.<\/p>\n

The closure of spots like The Coal Exchange has left a searing hole in the capital’s cultural fabric, one that Splott might work to level.<\/p>\n

“Cardiff suffers a huge lack of mid-capacity underground venues that can bridge the gap between a Clwb Ifor Bach, The Great Hall and a Motorpoint Arena,” says Tudor of Little Bigfoot Promotions, the organisers.<\/p>\n

Last year, Splott joined the repertoire of successful venues born of the redevelopment of old structures in Cardiff.<\/p>\n
