The effect Brexit is going to have on the Welsh environment will be the topic up for discussion between Jon Gower and Iolo Williams at the Joylons hotel on Cathedral Road next month<\/p>\n

The event at Jolyons hotel is part of series called Endevant put on by Turnstile Music which is going to explore how Wales fits into the bigger European picture in the forever changing modern era, through discussion, art and collectiveness.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
The series of events has no manifesto, no party affiliation, only a belief in Wales as part of a wider European and international community, according to the label. The word Endevant comes from the Catalan word for \u201cforward\u201d. Forward in a non presumptuous way but borrowing from a language and nation that shares with wales some of the same values, problems and concerns.<\/p>\n

The first two events in the series they will be hosted in Turnstile\u2019s home town of Cardiff but they are hoping to get to other parts of Wales in the future. \u2018Yn erbyn ein natur\u2019 which in English means \u2018against our nature\u2019 will be a Welsh spoken event.<\/p>\n

Jon told us that \u201cThe effect of Brexit on environmental safe-guards has barely been mentioned in the acres of newsprint and hours of airtime devoted to the analysis of leaving the EU so it’ll be good to ponder what we might lose.\u201d\u201cI think its refreshing that a record company should seize the initiative in holding and promoting such a discussion\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

Turnstile is a record label based in Cardiff and has the likes of Gruff Rhys and Christopher Owens signed.<\/p>\n

The events will be recorded in front of a live audience and will be uploaded as podcasts. Each of the events will focus on a unique aspect of modern Wales and will be divided between Welsh and English.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
