delighted to&nbsp;announce their traditional two new actor,&nbsp;musician-led productions this Christmas.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Marketing manager, Ed Newsome reported, &#8220;Throughout the lockdowns, Sherman Theatre used digital media extensively to continue to carry out our work. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Now that our doors are open once again, we are delighted to be able to welcome audiences back to the Sherman.&#8221; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On the larger stage, the Main House, Gary Owen\u2019s adaptation of<em> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.shermantheatre.co.uk\/event\/a-christmas-carol\/\">A Christmas Carol<\/a>, <\/em>aimed at audiences aged 7+, will be directed by Joe Murphy in his debut Main House production as artistic director.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The sma<em>ller Studio theatre will simultaneously be staging a bilingual production of&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.shermantheatre.co.uk\/event\/the-elves-and-the-shoemaker\/\">The Elves and the Shoemaker<\/a> \/ <a href=\"https:\/\/www.shermantheatre.co.uk\/event\/y-coblynnod-ar-crydd\/\">Y&nbsp;Coblynnod&nbsp;a\u2019r&nbsp;Crydd<\/a>, <\/em>adapted by Katherine Chandler and directed by Sara Lloyd. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This&nbsp;production&nbsp;will be performed in both <a href=\"https:\/\/www.shermantheatre.co.uk\/event\/the-elves-and-the-shoemaker\/\">English<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.shermantheatre.co.uk\/event\/y-coblynnod-ar-crydd\/\">Welsh<\/a> in separate performances, aiming to give children aged 3-6 their first introduction to theatre.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Sherman Theatre is&nbsp;a unique drama experience, as with every \u201cMade at Sherman\u201d production, both Christmas shows have been rehearsed, created and envisioned under the roof of the Sherman.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Both creative writers who adapt the beloved classics&nbsp;are&nbsp;some of Wales\u2019s best writers who work continuously within the Sherman.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While still adhering to Covid-19 safety guidelines, on selected dates, the theatre also makes its performances more accessible offering, such as: BSL interpretation, audio commentary,&nbsp;and relaxed performances, designed to enable audience members to leave throughout the performance and dimming the lights instead of blackouts.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Deputy house manager, Aled Wyn Thomas&nbsp;commented on everything the Sherman Theatre team does to try to ensure the ecology of the theatre remains stable, accessible, and welcoming to anyone who wishes to work within the sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Aled commented, \u201cSherman Theatre prides itself on being a place for everyone and it was a huge shame that we couldn\u2019t welcome people into the building for
