This\nincludes sessions where parents can learn about the signs of knife activity and\ninvolvement in&nbsp;county lines \u2013 the movement of drugs from cities to rural areas for\nsale.<\/p>\n\n\n<p>Labour Councillor for Adamsdown Owen Jones is supporting the operation and says it\u2019s important for the police to work&nbsp;with schools. \u201cChildren possibly at 14 can\u2019t quite understand that not having a knife is safer than having a knife\u201d, he said. \u201cIt\u2019s not a protection device, it puts you in far more danger.\u201d&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n<p>Sgt Gerallt Hughes says that\nalthough Operation Cosmos is only for November, the activities will\ncontinue into the next month and beyond. \u201cOur concentration around knife crime will\nnever stop.
