A new multi-charity shop in the St Davids Centre has partnered with the Royal Ballet and Opera House to sell costumes worn in past productions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The outfits are usually kept at the Scenery Store in Aberdare, but have now been given to the Charity Super.Mkt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prices have been kept as low as possible, with the money raised going towards the National Royal Ballet and Opera Foundation Fund.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The foundation was set up to provide singing and dancing lessons for children as well as allowing families to visit theatres in for the first time. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is a cause many customers feel passionate about. One shopper admitted to having to sell things on eBay to be able to put her son through performing arts school. She said that, aside from London, people are being “priced out” of these performing skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The outfits have been used in a wide range of plays and operas in theaters across London, allowing fans to buy costumes from their well-known plays. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
