A standing only event? A fear of large crowds? A schedule with no flexibility? There is a multitude of reasons that people cannot attend concerts. If only there was a way you could take it all in without actually being there…
Introducing ‘STAGE2U’ – bringing the stage to your doorstep!
For a variety of different reasons, people are unable to experience concerts in todays day and age. Through the use of head mounted equipment, users will be able to semi-immerse themselves into a virtual world of live music. The platform will be available to use on the ‘Oculus Go’, a cheaper headset in contrast to others than ensures accessibility to a wider scope of people. The users will then schedule and experience a pre-recorded concert, which can then be experienced either solo or with co-presence. ‘’STAGE2U’ also presents users with agency, allowing for solo consumers to design their own setlist – providing them with their own personalised experience.
The experience will begin with a starting scene outside of an arena, with a car seen driving into the venue. The user will then be loaded into a screen inside the arena, which provides them with a list of options and choices of how to personalise their experience.
The concert itself will be prerecorded, and presented to the user through 360 video. The performance will also be recorded from a variety of camera angles, which each user will be indiviudally assigned to if experienced as a group. From here, the user will then schedule their experience, which will commence at their selected time.
