If there is one benefit to a pandemic, it is the ability to learn more about your local area. Sometimes if we don’t have enough background knowledge on an area or tourist attraction, we don’t always appreciate it enough – it is time to change that. Get out there and learn more about the city: each city has a story!
No longer will you have to attempt a laugh when your tour guide lets out another terrible joke. Forced to stand looking at yet another monument whilst your tour guide goes off on the fourth monologue of the day, well no more: Tales from the City gives you the autonomy to set the pace. If you are feeling particularly confident you don’t even need to follow one of the multiple storytelling experiences we have available for each city – simply hold up your device and see what you find.
For the time being the only available city is Basel, Switzerland. Basel is a charming city in the north-west of Switzerland with both France and Germany at its doorstep. It’s commonly known as the cultural capital of Switzerland, meaning there’s a variety of different themed tours to choose from. This experience is both entertaining and educational and will help us learn more about the world we live in and the places we travel to.
