The last 12 months have made it incredibly difficult for people to embrace their inner adventurer and explore the world around them. From struggling to keep the kids entertained, to international students who haven\u2019t been able to get to know the beautiful new city around them, we know it\u2019s been tough. At CentreQuest, we want to put YOU in charge of your next adventure. We\u2019ve paired up with Cardiff University and the National Museum to create a nifty AR app that provides you with a walking tour through the wonderful Welsh capital, allowing you to take the wheel and explore at your own pace. No more speed-walking to keep up with a tour guide, or struggling to hear what they have to say over the hustle and bustle of the city centre &#8211; Instead simply look at the markers on the map and decide where you want to go next, pop in your headphones, and get to know the city! Our AR technology allows you to point your device (either your own smartphone, or a device loaned from the museum) at one of our many landmarks, and gives you an overlay of information related to the history, and current significance, of the location. It\u2019s a tour guide in your pocket!
