Foodies rejoice! The popular street food pop-up The Depot will now be available weekly, serving the tastiest treats of Wales<\/h2>\n

Following series of successful foodie events last year, starting last Saturday, The Depot <\/a>hold a weekly street-food pop-ups at their famous venue, an abandoned but artfully decorated warehouse in Butetown, Cardiff.<\/p>\n

Five artisan food traders were selling their wares at the inaugurating night of the “The Depot Street Food Social”. A popular and very packed one is Burger Theory<\/a><\/em>, a Bristol-based gourmet burger stall with an experimental menu, ranging from minted lamb burger with haloumi and harrisa mayo to wild boar, venison and apricot burger.<\/p>\n

Others are Ffwrnes Pizza<\/em><\/a>, which brought its own mobile wood fire oven,\u00a0Goodfillas<\/a><\/em>, who has sweet and savoury treats filling its crispy pizza dough, Fancy fries<\/a><\/em> who serves \u00a0complex toppings for its crispy fries cooked in beef dripping, and locally sourced fast-food stall Urban Eat Wales<\/a><\/em>.<\/p>\n

Every week there will be different stalls featured, to be announced each Monday via the mailing list depotcadiff.com. Owain Matthews, The Depot Manager, said that they have a stringent criteria for their food trucks.<\/p>\n

“We make sure the food comes out looking good, tasting good and having the highest quality. It should be served fast as well.”<\/p>\n
