{"id":27226,"date":"2017-12-12T18:13:49","date_gmt":"2017-12-12T18:13:49","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.jomec.co.uk\/intercardiff\/?p=27226"},"modified":"2017-12-12T18:13:49","modified_gmt":"2017-12-12T18:13:49","slug":"parents-gathered-in-memory-of-their-lost-children","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cardiffjournalism.co.uk\/intercardiff\/business-culture\/parents-gathered-in-memory-of-their-lost-children","title":{"rendered":"Parents gathered in memory of their lost children"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Parents who have experienced overwhelmed heartbreak gather at a church service to remember their babies<\/h2>\n<p>Nearly 100 Cardiff parents who have lost newborn children took part in a church ceremony to remember their loss, last Friday.<\/p>\n<p>The Lights of Love event at St Saviour\u2019s Church Splott\u00a0was held\u00a0by SANDS, the Stillbirth and Neonatal Death charity, in the weeks before Chrismas. It gives them permission to grieve and spend some time thinking about that baby.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere are fourteen services across Britain. We do lots of different services around the year. It\u2019s really tough, it\u2019s kind of like the world fell down. Fortunately, we got support from friends, families. Sometimes, you know, we feel alone.
