It\u2019s good to help out the park rangers to keep our community green space clean and good for public use.\u201d<br \/>\nMs Bowers has been helping Friends of Hailey Park for 10 years and has helped organise the monthly maintenance sessions.<br \/>\n<figure id=\"attachment_23972\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-23972\" style=\"width: 4796px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-full wp-image-23972\" src=\"https:\/\/cardiffjournalism.co.uk\/thecardiffian\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/9\/2018\/01\/Penny-image.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"4796\" height=\"3597\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-23972\" class=\"wp-caption-text\"><noscript><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-23972\" src=\"https:\/\/cardiffjournalism.co.uk\/thecardiffian\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/9\/2018\/01\/Penny-image.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"4796\" height=\"3597\" \/><\/noscript> Penny Bowers, chair of the group, helps clear up a pathway in Hailey Park.<\/figcaption><\/figure><br \/>\nWhitchurch resident and the secretary of Friends of Hailey Park, Derek Kinsey, said: \u201cThe general maintenance work we\u2019re doing really helps improve the image of the park.
