We hope services will resume at around 8am but please check for updates. <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/cbupdate?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#cbupdate<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/2S1JYq1xOJ\">pic.twitter.com\/2S1JYq1xOJ<\/a><br \/>\n\u2014 Cardiff bus (@Cardiffbus) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Cardiffbus\/status\/969547611224117248?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">March 2, 2018<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The bus routes came to a halt at 6pm last night, which passengers claim left some Cardiff Bus drivers forced to walk home.<br \/>\nThe bus company&#8217;s customer service team is available, but its information desk at Cardiff central library is closed today.<br \/>\nDarren Trebilcock, 44, of Tremorfa, caught one of the last No. 2 Cardiff Bus services to Cathays last night and said\u00a0\u201cthe back of the bus still tried to spin us\u201d.<br \/>\nA spokesperson for Cardiff Bus said: &#8220;We have suspended service for the remainder of the day due to the existing road conditions and the forecast conditions for the rest of today.<br \/>\n&#8220;Services tomorrow will be assessed in the morning but nothing will run before 8am.&#8221;<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Road updates<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>South Wales Police are asking people not to drive in Cardiff unless necessary, because of the treacherous condition of the roads.<br \/>\nMany roads in Cardiff are closed due to snow and abandoned vehicles.<br \/>\n<iframe class=\"zeen-lazy-load-base zeen-lazy-load\" src=\"about:blank\" data-lazy-src=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/plugins\/post.php?href=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2Fswpcardiff%2Fposts%2F2093157067634879&amp;width=500\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\"><\/iframe><noscript><iframe src=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/plugins\/post.php?href=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2Fswpcardiff%2Fposts%2F2093157067634879&amp;width=500\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\"><\/iframe><\/noscript><br \/>\nVehicles, including lorries, have been abandoned along the M4 between junctions 26 and 32. Traffic Wales is moving them.<br \/>\nTraffic Wales is also currently gritting the M4 in both directions.<br \/>\nCardiff Council has sent all snow ploughs and gritters available to help clear main roads, and keep them open.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-lang=\"en\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">All of the Council\u2019s snow ploughs and gritters are working around the clock to keep the priority routes open. In addition, wintry conditions in the United Kingdom have caused airports to halt or restrict operations.&#8221;<\/p>\n<h3>Arriva Trains Wales<\/h3>\n<p>Arriva Trains Wales has cancelled all rail services in South Wales\u00a0until further notice.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-lang=\"en\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Due to worsening weather conditions overnight, for safety reasons, services in the southern part of our network are cancelled for Friday.
