The tyre was ripped in three places and one of my alloys is buckled.<br \/>\n\u201cTwo other cars were parked up with hazard lights on next to the potholes so they may have been affected too.<br \/>\n\u201cIt will cost a few hundred pounds for repairs. It\u2019s an unnecessary expense.\u201d<br \/>\n<figure id=\"attachment_28326\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-28326\" style=\"width: 595px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\" wp-image-28326\" src=\"https:\/\/cardiffjournalism.co.uk\/thecardiffian\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/9\/2018\/03\/tyre-colage-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"595\" height=\"446\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-28326\" class=\"wp-caption-text\"><noscript><img decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-28326\" src=\"https:\/\/cardiffjournalism.co.uk\/thecardiffian\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/9\/2018\/03\/tyre-colage-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"595\" height=\"446\" \/><\/noscript> Tyre damage after hitting a pothole<\/figcaption><\/figure><br \/>\nJulie Tavener, 40, from Rumney said: \u201cMy car wasn\u2019t damaged but my kids were really scared.<br \/>\n\u201cMany politicians have grand ideas and promises, but they need to work on the smaller things first.\u201d<br \/>\nAnother driver who did not want to be named said: \u201cI understand the snow has made the roads a lot worse.<br \/>\n\u201cBut where does all our road tax go?
