The Place I Call Home features photographers based in the UK and the Middle East<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n

A CATHAYS gallery is showing an exhibition about home and identity that will tour the UK and Arab Gulf countries.<\/p>\n\n\n

The Place I Call Home<\/a><\/em> is being shown at Ffotogallery in Cathays<\/a>, one of the 10 UK locations on the tour, until December 21. It is the gallery\u2019s first formal exhibition.<\/p>\n\n\n

The exhibition features artists based in the UK and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries. Wales-based printers, framers, designers and producers were also involved. <\/p>\n\n\n

\u201cIt is great to be able to present the exhibition in Cardiff, not\nonly because of the strong Muslim presence in the city, but also because the\ntheme speaks to universal concerns about identity and belonging, migration and\nenvironmental issues,\u201d said gallery director, David Drake.<\/p>\n\n\n
