This follows a review of the entire Council estate. There are currently no proposals.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n<p>The branding of green spaces&nbsp;across the city, including Gleider&nbsp;Field,&nbsp;as &#8220;surplus land&#8221; that could be disposed of&nbsp;has been met with&nbsp;strong&nbsp;criticism from Cardiff Civic Society.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n<p>It says the council\u2019s \u201cblatant disregard of green infrastructure and its benefits\u201d&nbsp;directly contradict the council\u2019s comments declaring a climate emergency.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed-twitter aligncenter wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\"><p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">The motion to join with other councils across the UK in declaring a global \u2018climate emergency\u2019 has been carried by Cardiff Council, Yes &#8211;
