We have been so up and down recently that it\u2019s hard to predict if we will even turn up,&#8221; said City fan Jack Lake. <\/p>\n\n\n<p>\u201cThings seem to be settling under Neil Harris now but there needs to be more consistency to have any hope of making the play-offs.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed-twitter wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\"><p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">\ud83d\udde3\ufe0f Harris: &quot;If we&#39;re serious about these play-off places then it is time to step up and deliver.<br><br>&quot;It&#39;s probably the biggest week since I&#39;ve been in charge, and I want a points return.&quot;<br><br>Read &amp; watch (<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/CardiffCityTV?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@cardiffcitytv<\/a>) more \ud83d\udc49 <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/OfGKblcWqP\">https:\/\/t.co\/OfGKblcWqP<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/CityAsOne?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#CityAsOne<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/FsiihcFMeM\">pic.twitter.com\/FsiihcFMeM<\/a><\/p>&mdash; Cardiff City FC (@CardiffCityFC) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/CardiffCityFC\/status\/1225475356276199429?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">February 6, 2020<\/a><\/blockquote><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n<p>Dan Lebeau, a Cardiff fan who has attended 33 of Cardiff\u2019s 36 games this season said: \u201cWhen a new manager joins a new club, I believe there will always have to be a period of transition, finding his best squad and tactics. <\/p>\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe have been up and down since he joined but I think given\na summer break and transfer window he can bring his own players in and really\nmould the squad into something that he can work well with.<\/p>\n\n\n<p>\u201cI am currently taking every match with a pinch of salt and\ntrying not to let the result get to me, Luton being no exception, especially\nafter the way they performed against us earlier in the season. <\/p>\n\n\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m not expecting anything big this season and believe at the moment play-offs are an unrealistic push, but the club have proven me wrong before.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n<p>Sam Thomas, 21, thinks the football under Harris has papered over the cracks.<\/p>\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019ve been picking up way too many draws and we perhaps\nshould have lost just as many as we could have won,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n<p>\u201cWithout giving the manager the funding to put his own stamp\non the team, I find it tough to see how we can expect to see great improvement.\n<\/p>\n\n\n<p>\u201cA win at Luton could be a confidence boost to a few of the\nmore inexperienced players and picking up consistency is crucial if we\u2019re\nhoping for a shot at the top six.\u201d\n<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Fans speak out on season so far before trip to bottom-placed Hatters CARDIFF travel to bottom side Luton Town on Saturday looking to pick up a valuable three points.
