She said she was shocked by the photos and videos of flooding which were posted on social media during Storm Dennis.<\/p>\n\n\n<p>She said: \u201cIf water came into my house, the first thing I would do is get my mum, and then I\u2019d get the dog. <\/p>\n\n\n<p>\u201cBut you wouldn\u2019t pick up anything for the dog like a lead, or its food, or its medication \u2013 you&#8217;d just take the dog, wouldn\u2019t you?\u201d&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n<p>The Pet Food Bank Service, of which she is a trustee, has been a registered charity for just over a year. <\/p>\n\n\n<p>It gives out food and pet food and supplies room where Debi stores donations to the Pet Food Bank Service<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n<p>In Cardiff, people can donate supplies using collection bins in Vets4Pets, Club 3000 Bingo, Action Petz Cardiff, and Go-Raw.<\/p>\n\n\n<p>Yesterday Ms Emmett brought cat and dog supplies to<a href=\"https:\/\/jomec.co.uk\/thecardiffian\/2020\/02\/18\/storm-dennis-taffs-well-victims-humbled-by-support\/\"> Taff\u2019s Well<\/a> village hall and Llantrisant Leisure Centre.<\/p>\n\n\n<p>She gave out a total of 240 dog meals and 80 cat meals, as well as other pet supplies.<\/p>\n\n\n<p>\u201cI took everything I could round in the car: dog food, cat food, dog harnesses and collars, coats even, bowls, dog beds, cat beds, treats, toys \u2013 everything I had,\u201d said Ms Emmett.<\/p>\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" all the pet supplies donated to the Service into her car<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n<p>\u201cI went to Taff\u2019s Well village hall and the man there said he\u2019d seen a lady turn up in just her dressing gown. <\/p>\n\n\n<p>&#8220;There\u2019s a family there who lived in ground floor flats and they\u2019ve lost everything,\u201d&nbsp;she said.<\/p>\n\n\n<p>Taff\u2019s Well village hall is already appealing for more supplies. Mandy Williams, 56, of Pentyrch, is a volunteer at the hall. <\/p>\n\n\n<p>She said: \u201cThere\u2019s some pet food, a bag of leads and a couple of jackets, but we would love some more animal stuff!
