They also pride themselves on the pressure they build in\nthe breakdown.<\/p>\n\n\n<p>\u201cThey have some excellent outside backs and they are a pretty\ncomplete team. <\/p>\n\n\n<p>\u201cThey have an astute coach and will have a game plan to unsettle us this week but we\u2019re very much looking forward to the challenge.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n<p>The Blues will be hoping for a repeat\nof the last time they travelled to the Scottish capital.<\/p>\n\n\n<p>Finding themselves 14-0 down at half-time the Blues rallied in the second half and two tries from centre Jason Harries secured a memorable 19-17 victory.<\/p>\n\n\n<p>Harries, a former Edinburgh player,\nstarts once more against his former club looking to repeat his heroics from a\nyear ago.<\/p>\n\n\n<p>Edinburgh come into this fixture off\nthe back of a 41-14 thumping of Connacht and have won their previous four\nmatches.<\/p>\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed-twitter wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\"><p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\"><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/ThrowbackThursday?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#ThrowbackThursday<\/a> to <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/cardiff_blues?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@cardiff_blues<\/a>&#39; astonishing 2019 comeback at <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/EdinburghRugby?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@EdinburghRugby<\/a> <br><br>The hosts led 14-0 at HT &#8211; until two-try Jason Harries came on and Blues started throwing shapes \ud83d\udc4c<br><br>Blues seem to have a strange hex at Edinburgh, winning on their last three visits \ud83e\udd1c <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/nNhx47DIsA\">pic.twitter.com\/nNhx47DIsA<\/a><\/p>&mdash; PRO14 RUGBY (at \ud83c\udfe1) (@PRO14Official) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/PRO14Official\/status\/1232945967659274241?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">February 27, 2020<\/a><\/blockquote><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n<p>South African Duhan van der Merwe is the\nman the Cardiff defence will have to look out for as the winger has touched\ndown in his last five matches.<\/p>\n\n\n<p>Head coach Richard Cockerill said:\n\u201cWe need to make sure we\u2019re on it. We should be well motivated since we\u2019re on a\ngood run, but we need to make sure we get all the basic things right.<\/p>\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe weather will be a little bit better than last two weeks, but\nwe need to be really functional and practical in how we play.
