a Covid 19 hotspot &#8211; when they were told to attend an appointment. <\/p>\n\n\n<p>Julie Sanson, a receptionist at Cyncoed Surgery, said the patient was collected by Public Health Wales so they could be tested for the Coronavirus.<\/p>\n\n\n<p>She added: \u201cThe clinician who conducted the appointment was also put in a separate room and has since been sent home for isolation as per advice given to us by Public Health Wales.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n<p>The premises were deep cleaned as a precaution and staff are satisfied that it was safe to re-open to the public today. <\/p>\n\n\n<p>Elin Stevens, 27, a stay-at-home mum and a patient at the\nsurgery said: \u201cI think they did the right thing closing the surgery to protect\npatients, but I\u2019m relieved it\u2019s been re-opened and there hopefully won\u2019t be any\nlong term disruption for people who need appointments.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n<p>George Camberly, 66, a retired hospital porter from Pontprennau and a patient at Cyncoed surgery said: \u201cEveryone\u2019s been trying not to panic but it\u2019s easier said than done when there\u2019s a scare in your local surgery.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed-twitter wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\"><p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Panic buying of all the hand sanitizer and almost all the hand soap seen here in Pontprennau <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/Cardiff?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#Cardiff<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/WalesOnline?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@WalesOnline<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/NLFYeemrbx\">pic.twitter.com\/NLFYeemrbx<\/a><\/p>&mdash;
