They will be hosting a discussion on their <a href=\"http:\/\/www.iwa.org.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">website<\/a> from 4pm today.<br \/>\nOne fifth of people in Welsh social housing have had their benefits reduced since the introduction of the under-occupancy penalty, which has been dubbed the bedroom tax.\u00a0The Scottish government will be given additional powers over their welfare state which will let them change housing benefit policy from London and the IWA are asking if Wales should have the same.<br \/>\nAnyone can give their views\u00a0on the discussion by registering on the site and commenting.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp; The Institute of Welsh Affairs are hosting an online discussion today on whether Wales should ditch the controversial bedroom tax.
