Three locations are showing festive films for you and your family to enjoy<\/strong> <\/h4>\n\n\n\n

FESTIVE cinema returns to Cardiff this Christmas so you can watch movies in some amazing locations. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

From Elf<\/em> to Home Alone<\/em> there are many films worth going to watch and these are where you can see them. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cardiff Castle<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Castle is hosting Winter Wonderlands ice skating this year but will be home to a Christmas cinema as well.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

They\u2019re teaming up with Underground Cinema to bring you The Nightmare Before Christmas<\/em>, Elf<\/em> and many more festive films. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cardiff Castle ticket manager, Lloyd Glanville said: \u201cThey are so popular. Home Alone <\/em>and Elf<\/em> are those Christmas classics that we know people will snap up.\u2019\u2019 <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Visiting tourist, Solomon Michelo, 25, from Glasgow said: \u2018\u2019I would 100% go to one of the films.\u2019\u2019 <\/p>\n\n\n\n

With the new Covid variant being an issue, Cohine Kayya, 27, from Glasgow and visiting Cardiff said: \u2018\u2019If the cinema is outside, it is fine and if people test themselves and stay socially distanced it would be good as well.\u2019\u2019 <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cHome Alone<\/em> is already sold out and The Polar Express<\/em> is down to the last four tickets,\u201d said Mr Glanville. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Due to the pandemic, Mr Glanville stated: \u2018\u2019There is a slightly reduced capacity on the screening, normally it is 90 but it has been cut to 55 to allow for greater distancing but they almost always sell out.\u2019\u2019 <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The films will be shown in the castle\u2019s Undercroft and will be shown Saturday, December 18 and Sunday, December 19. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tickets are \u00a38.50 for adults and \u00a35.50 for children.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lost Lands Cinema, Penarth<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Back by popular demand, Lost Lands cinema will be showing Christmas films this year with the first being shown on December 4.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The outdoor cinema will be held at The Deck on the marina, under their cosy dome tent. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Blankets will be provided and the dome will be heated. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Table service is available for snacks and drinks for you to enjoy during the films. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Grinch That Stole Christmas, Die Hard<\/em> and Edward Scissorhands<\/em> are the pick of the bunch that will be shown. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
