Source: Commonplace (via Transport for Wales website).<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>This consultation will run until the end of the month when the suggested improvements will be assessed and an outline design will be recommended for the station.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Most of the suggestions so far are in relation to a lack of public facilities which include improved lighting and modern architecture. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Megan Davies, 23, believes that these improvements would help modernise the station.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s a bit grey and drab at the moment, you wouldn\u2019t think it\u2019s the main train station in our capital,&#8221; she said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cIt needs a bold redesign, something that\u2019s modern yet caters to the need of all of the station&#8217;s users.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Another area of concern for residents are transport links to and from the station.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Rhys Lewis, 37, who cycles to the station most days, says he feels at risk with no cycle lanes in the vicinity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s the easiest way for me to travel to Cardiff Central.
