Vale of Glamorgan Eats will donate half its profits back to the community <\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

A NEW takeaway ordering service, Vale of Glamorgan Eats<\/a>, will launch at the end of this month.   <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The app will feature takeaway businesses in the Vale which can deliver to areas not covered by competitors, such as Deliveroo and Uber Eats.    <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Promotor Ethan Rane, 40, founder of Vale of Glamorgan Eats, has lived in the area for 15 years.   <\/p>\n\n\n\n

He said: \u201cThis is personal for me \u2013 I\u2019ve been in the industry a long time and I wanted to create something affordable for businesses and give something back to the community. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cHalf of this year\u2019s profits will be going back into our community, either through donating to local charities, schools or local projects.\u201d  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The VOG Eats App is affordable for local businesses as it offers low commission fees in comparison to the big-name delivery services.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Deliveroo and Uber Eats charge between 15% and 35% in commission; whereas VOG Eats charges half that and 50% of this year’s proceeds will be donated back to the community.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n
