It\u2019s so cool. I have my camera to take a picture.\u201d<br \/>\nPeople queued for up to 15 minutes to view the eclipse through special glasses the museum were distributing, while members of the public brought pin hole cameras and even colanders to view it.<br \/>\n\u201cThe internet told me about me about the whole colander thing.\u201d Said Jess Werrell, 23 from Richmond Road. \u201cI\u2019m studying physics and this just seemed like a really sciency and cool way to see it all!\u201d<br \/>\nTom Cotterell, 36, from the Forest of Dean, who works at the museum added: \u201cThe best thing is that we were lucky with the weather. It has been a bit cold but other than that it has been great.<br \/>\n<figure id=\"attachment_6448\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-6448\" style=\"width: 300px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-image-6448 size-medium\" src=\"http:\/\/cardiffian.jomec.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/Eclipse-glasses-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"Eclipse glasses are used by viewers outside the museum in Cardiff.\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-6448\" class=\"wp-caption-text\"><noscript><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-6448 size-medium\" src=\"http:\/\/cardiffian.jomec.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/Eclipse-glasses-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"Eclipse glasses are used by viewers outside the museum in Cardiff.\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/><\/noscript> People gather outside the museum to watch the eclipse.<\/figcaption><\/figure><br \/>\n\u201cI\u2019ve heard it was better here in Cardiff than other parts of the country.\u201d<br \/>\nExperts were also on hand to help out and also explained a little about the eclipse.<br \/>\nDavid Cunnah, 29, a national officer for Wales at the Institute of Physics said: \u201cWe wanted to help give everyone a chance to view the eclipse safely.<br \/>\n\u201cWe had about 85 per cent eclipse today, for 100 per cent you\u2019d need to go to the Faroe Islands or Svalbard in Norway.<br \/>\n\u201cWe didn\u2019t anticipate as many people as we have had today.
