Cousin Donna Cooper and family raised \u00a3800 with a sponsored climb of Pen y Fan \u2013 the highest peak in south Wales \u2013 and the campaign recently received an anonymous \u00a3500 donation.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nThe Nine Giants pub in Llanishen has even pledged the takings of their Easter fun day to Mook\u2019s cause. Thanks to this and\u00a0the fundraising efforts of Cardiffian readers, Mook will have surgery to fix her condition on April 9 at the Hensol Hospital in the Vale of Glamorgan. Christine, of St Mellons, Cardiff, said: \u201cIt\u2019s awesome \u2013 a real relief.
