The money will be split between Velindre Cancer Centre in Cardiff and Acorns Children\u2019s Hospice, where their son Ayden spent time before dying\u00a0from a rare form of cancer in 2005.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">The event began at noon on Halloween\u00a0and finished just before 6am the next morning. Afterwards, Lisa spoke of her delight at the community\u2019s support.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">She said: \u201cIt was a good turnout and a great event. A huge thank-you to everyone who came in to get inked and show their support as without you we wouldn\u2019t have raised funds for two great charities.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">\u201cWe even had a lad who had a stamp mark on his bum with his date of birth and the word Delivered.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Lisa also praised the charities that will benefit from the proceeds.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_7185\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-7185\" style=\"width: 280px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><a href=\"http:\/\/cardiffian.jomec.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/12190901_184250578580620_8397436372169217859_n.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-image-7185\" src=\"http:\/\/cardiffian.jomec.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/12190901_184250578580620_8397436372169217859_n.jpg\" alt=\"12190901_184250578580620_8397436372169217859_n\" width=\"280\" height=\"509\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-7185\" class=\"wp-caption-text\"><noscript><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-7185\" src=\"http:\/\/cardiffian.jomec.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/12190901_184250578580620_8397436372169217859_n.jpg\" alt=\"12190901_184250578580620_8397436372169217859_n\" width=\"280\" height=\"509\" \/><\/noscript><\/a> <strong>A customer goes under the needle for Mark Richmond.<\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p class=\"p1\">\u201cWe have raised the money for the charities as my 29-month-old son passed away at Acorns and my mother-in-law has just been diagnosed with cancer and will be using Velindre for radiotherapy and chemotherapy.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">\u201cAcorns do a great job for families with children who are life-limited. They looked after my son Ayden so well and they rely solely on public donations to stay open.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Ayden, who suffered from a form of cancer so rare that doctors could not tell his parents its name, had a positive experience at Acorns Children\u2019s Hospice, said Lisa.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">\u201cThe room Ayden was in when passing had a cot and beautiful music playing quietly. It was so much better then him being in a morgue.
