“At this point, we might as well leave the door open to save on repair costs,” said one High Street shop owner<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

SHOPKEEPERS on Llandaff High Street are calling for urgent help as they struggle with repeated break-ins and mounting repair costs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Blush Hair salon has been targeted three times in the past six weeks. In the most recent attack, a boulder was thrown through the front window and just \u00a34 was stolen from the till.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“All we could do was board it up for a week, so it got really cold in here; and now we’ve kept the boulder as a keepsake,” said Sarah Chapman, an employee at Blush.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“At this point, we might as well leave the door open to save on repair costs.” <\/p>\n\n\n\n
