Protests on the streets <\/h4>\n\n\n\n

The unmissable story of the week in Cardiff – particularly if you are connected to the university – is the significant cuts proposed to several university departments, putting hundreds of jobs under threat. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our reporters were at the scene when protesters from the schools of nursing and music, among others, took to the streets with placcards. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

But it wasn’t just the university proposals that agitated people and pensioners protested at the Senedd against the cuts to Winter Fuel Allowance. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
