Two Welsh charities are to hold their first ever Autumn Youth Conference.

The event will be hosted by Youth Cymru and Pride Cymru, taking place on Saturday 10 October from 10.00am to 18.30pm at the Park Inn Hotel.

This will provide young people across Wales with a free educational programme consisting of workshops and speeches by youth ambassadors to celebrate International Coming Out Day.

Tracey Bancroft, deputy event director of Pride 2015 says, “The purpose of the conference is to educate, inform and allow LGBT people in Wales to have a voice.”

The charities have previously supported one another’s events according to Rachel Benson, development officer at Youth Cymru. “The workshops cover health and wellbeing, the Transform Project and Sally Holland will be delivering a speech.”
