Kendrick Lamar has announced he will bring his Grand National Tour to Cardiff in July.
This comes after a huge week for the American rapper, who won Song of the Year at the Grammys and played the halftime show at the NFL Super Bowl.
Singer-songwriter SZA, a frequent collaborator who performed with Lamar at the Super Bowl, will join him for both artists’ first time performing in Wales. They will play one night at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium on the 19 July 2025.
Kendrick Lamar made headlines last year after a public feud with fellow rapper Drake resulted in both artists releasing a number of “diss-tracks”.
‘Not Like Us’, one of the Drake disses released by Lamar, won five Grammys and was hailed as one of 2024’s best songs by a number of music publications.
SZA, who has landed six UK top ten singles, headlined at Glastonbury last year and won Best R&B Song at the 2025 Grammys for ‘Saturn’, the lead single from her latest album Lana.
