It caters to the needs of theatregoers by including a free pie and pint in the ticket price.

Director Gethin Evans said, “It is an opportunity to see strong, visceral theatre whilst also utilising the social elements of a trip to the theatre.”

A cultural concoction: The Sherman Cymru has alway tried new things in order to get more people to experience the art of theatre and live performance.

A Play, A Pie and A Pint was founded at The Òran Mór theatre, Glasgow in 2004. It showcases the work of young Scottish and Welsh writers.

Production times are often kept short – meaning slow eaters have only 50 minutes to eat the pie of their choice.
