Live Music Now (LMN) will hold an open day from 2pm for performers interested in taking part in community music programmes across Wales.

The scheme, funded by Arts Council of Wales, organises concerts and workshops for people with limited access to live music, as well as offering paid gigs for young musicians beginning their professional careers.

Accordionist and composer Jamie Smith, who is playing at the event, said LMN “gives people in a variety of community settings – day centres, special schools, nursing homes etc. – direct access to quality musical performances from a wide range of genres that they would not otherwise be able to enjoy.”
