Cowbridge’s twin towns in Germany, Belgium and France will showcase their local cuisine at stalls in the Cowbridge food and drink festival

Fécamp in France will be selling a selection of cheeses and Rheinfelden in Germany will have Black Forest Hams and sausages. For those with a sweet tooth, Mouscron in Belgium will have a stall offering chocolates and freshly-made waffles.

The event, run by the Vale of Glamorgan Twinning Association, aims to display the friendships formed between each town and establish contact between groups of people with similar interests.

Rodney Care, Chairman of the Twinning Association, said that forging friendships, “Cannot be achieved by people wearing gold chains and making speeches. It needs participation by ordinary people who do it for fun!”
