For some, they constitute some of life’s guiltiest pleasures, but finally cocktails and cupcakes can be consumed in good conscience.
Cocktails and Cupcakes will take over Gwdihŵ Cafe Bar on 27 November as food, drink, raffles and auctions raise money for Pancreatic Cancer UK.
The event was organised by Linda Ball in memory of her mother, uncle and cousin who passed away from the disease in recent years.
Linda had to practically beg for prizes for the evening’s auction and raffle, which include a signed Bruce Lee print, Cardiff Blues tickets and more.
“I’m hoping to reach £1000,” Linda says. “On the last count we were up to £473. I’m not panicking because if it comes to the worst I’ll put it all on eBay!”
