St Peter’s Hall hosts The Stroke Associations first ever Snow Ball
The Stroke Association will be raising money and awareness this 2 December with a special Christmas event.
The charity have organised their first ever Snow Ball, which will involve a disco, a five course meal and a live performance from local band 4th Street Traffic.
The event is being held to promote The Stroke Association in the local community, as well as helping to raise money that will fund research into stroke prevention, treatment and rehabilitation.
Regional fundraising assistant Seren Evans explained that the Snow Ball is not the only part of the charity’s operation.
“Throughout the year we hold a wide variety of different events; sponsored walks, cycles, runs and zip slides,” she said. “In March we are holding a Skydive, which is very exciting.”
