Help spread a little seasonal cheer and donate a gift this Christmas
The Salvation Army is asking the public to donate new, unwrapped gifts and toys for children of all ages until Friday 16 December.
More than 150,000 gifts were donated and distributed last year as part of the Christmas Present Appeal, and the charity is anticipating an even greater demand this Christmas.
“Thanks to the generous support of the public, many local families in need in the UK have benefited from the gifts donated to The Salvation Army’s Christmas Present Appeal,” says Lieut-Colonel Marion Drew, The Salvation Army’s Secretary for Communications.
“Please help us again this year as we expect even more demand to help local youngsters and older people who run the risk of missing out at this special time of year,” she added.
