Jiving at the Bunk House
In an attempt to swing opinion in favour of alternative nights out, Bunk House on St Mary Street is introducing a new club night from next month onwards.
The hostel, bar and club boasts an underground cavern called the Halfpenny Theatre, which currently hosts a popular Swing Saturday, serving a dose of rockabilly, swing and rock ‘n roll, courtesy of Cardiff DJ Ben Potter.
The club has now decided to introduce Trojan and Ska Friday, commencing on 2 November 2012. With its eclectic offerings, Angie Kirby, a musician, describes the club as “small oasis in the middle of St Mary Street.”
