As the sporting world prepares to embrace the samba culture, Cardiff gets to experience the taste of Brazil for the first time.
‘Viva Brazil’ has opened in the city center and is the first restaurant of its kind in Wales.
It brings with it employment opportunities for the locals as well as a fitting trend in terms of the expansion of Brazilian culture in the UK. On that issue, Manager Rui Rodriguez said ‘There has been a movement in the last couple of years for Brazilian cuisine, and Cardiff has a larger Brazilian and Portuguese contingent than we thought, so it is a good time for business’.
Cardiff now adds to its already diverse culture, incorporating a contingent that they perhaps hadn’t accounted for in the past.
