A sleep out organised by homeless charity Llamau will take place in early November in an attempt to raise money for some of Cardiff’s most vulnerable.
On 7 November volunteers will spend the night outside of the Wales International Sports Stadium, experiencing some of the harsh realities facing Cardiff’s homeless in the beginning of what is predicted to be a snow filled winter.
Llamau works alongside young people and women throughout Wales to educate people about homelessness and help provide people with warm beds throughout the winter months.
Chief executive Francis Beecher said: “The idea is to show solidarity and to raise awareness and funds to support the work that we do.”
There will be entertainment provided through the night with food supplied by Domino’s Pizza and Peter’s Foods and Las Iguanas.
