Have you ever dreamed of being up on stage? Well now is your opportunity, as the Sherman Theatre plays host a production that allows audience members to be part of the show.

Kontakt sees 20 performers and 20 audience members sit down for “a series of unique one to one encounters”, according to the show’s creator Phil Mackenzie. There is no script, the show instead relying on conversation, charisma and chance.

“I was interested in exploring the division between performer and audience and seeing if I could make it almost disappear”, Mackenzie explains. “The whole of life is interactive theatre. It’s where I got the idea from.”

Kontakt comes to the Sherman between 30th October and 1st November, and Mackenzie advises audiences to expect the unexpected.
