Welsh patriotism becomes apparent as Sir Peter Blake sets to unveil his Dylan Thomas exhibition at Cardiff’s National Museum.
Launching next week, the display by the international artist showcases Thomas’s famous play, Under Milk Wood through the medium of art. It is the first exhibition of many in a programme called Dylan Thomas 100.
Communications officer for the National Museum, Catrin Taylor said, “The locals have already been asking about it, momentum is growing, there should be hundreds of visitors.”
Blake has been working on the collection for 25 years and is ready to share it with the public in celebration of Thomas’s centenary anniversary.
Catrin said, “It’s a privilege to work with Sir Peter Blake, the exhibition reflects personal passion for Dylan Thomas and the welsh literature.”
