The Parsons family have just opened their second bakery in Cardiff after unveiling their new shop in Rhiwbina Village.
The artisan bakers offer everything from pastries to pasties, and dedicate themselves to working with local companies and produce.
And with the business off to a flying start, the Rhiwbina staff show no fear of competition from the Greggs bakery that has also just opened in nearby Llanishen.
Manager of the bakery Milly Clarke said, “We’ve had a such rush of customers since opening, especially from school children and the surrounding shops.”
She also added that the best thing about working in a bakery is being able to transport someone right back to their childhood with a product.
Both the shops in Roath and Rhiwbina appear to be just the beginning of managing director Nick Parsons’ plans for a series of bakeries throughout Cardiff.
