Ignite 20 looks to be another smash success, as the 500 tickets for Wednesday night’s event were snapped up by eager customers.
Discussion community Ignite Cardiff has become such a popular bi-monthly fixture that tickets for its September event sold out within 45 seconds of release. Tickets are now released in batches online, in an effort to manage the demand for seats.
“There is no other night like Ignite Cardiff.” Said Steve Dimmick, member of the Ignite team. “It’s positive; nobody’s whinging, nobody’s selling, the talks always tend to be upbeat and result in people going home feeling good.”
Ignite 20’s speakers will be lecturing on, among others: ‘Gingerism, the last acceptable prejudice’, ‘Crystals for Green Energy’, and ‘Dick Kerr’s Ladies- thoughts on football and feminism’. Doors open at 6pm.
Ignite speaker Neil Atherton explains why we’re getting really fat in the video below, filmed at Ignite Cardiff 19.
