Pupils from schools throughout Cardiff are to take part in the UK’s largest youth festival.
The Shakespeare Schools Festival will be taking place at the Sherman Theatre on 9 to 11 November from 7pm to 10pm.
Four different schools will perform four different 30 minute long Shakespeare plays throughout each of the evenings with the order and plays not being announced until the actual night.
The largest UK youth festival aims to inspire both children and teachers and to bring the enchantment of Shakespeare to thousands of pupils.
As confirmed by the company on their website, the festival offers, “Students from all backgrounds the opportunity to perform Shakespeare on their local professional stage.”
Tickets for the event are £10, with discounts for groups of 20+.
