Tenovus Cancer Care will hold a Kilimanjaro trek information event at The Cardiff Brewery on Crawshay Street on Thursday 19 November.
The charity is searching for volunteers to scale the 5895 km tall mountain on November 2016 to raise money.
Georgina Williams, community and events team administrator for the charity said, “The event will include a few speakers. We’ve managed to get in touch with people who have either climbed Kilimanjaro before or done similar events.”
The money raised from the event will go towards the charity’s mobile units.
“Our fantastic mobile units go out into the community itself to deliver chemotherapy and other treatments, which means they’re taking waiting times off people,” said Georgina.
