Tribute band brings Beatles music to life

The Bootleg Beatles return to bring the sound of The Beatles to St David’s Hall in early December.

They will perform on Thursday 3 December – almost fifty years after the real fab four performed their last show in Cardiff.

The Beatles’ performance in the Capitol Theatre, Cardiff on 12 December 1965 would become the band’s last ever tour date in the UK.

Yesterday: 25,000 people applied to see The Beatles’ two Cardiff performances, but only 5,000 would get to see their heroes.

Concert attendees will hear songs from the early work in Please, Please Me to their final tracks on Let it Be.

The Bootleg Beatles replicate everything from the fab four’s behaviour to their change in style in order to make the experience as real as possible.

Neil Collins, press officer at St David’s Hall, said, “With well over 4,000 concerts in more than 40 countries this show has developed a huge reputation world wide”.
