A father and son have opened their second café in Cardiff.
Colin Brooker, 57, and his son Simon, 24, welcomed their first customers into the second branch of Sorrento’s two weeks ago.
The opening of the second Sorrento’s on Salisbury Road, Cathays comes after the success of their first café, which is situated near Roath Park.
The duo decided to set up their first cafe after Colin had returned from working in Australia and Simon had graduated from university.
Sorrento’s is open from breakfast until dinner and serves a variety of food and beverages, ranging from artisan burgers to luxury milkshakes.
Colin says, “Working with my son has really drawn us together. The family run business helps to create somewhere that’s comfortable for everyone and compliments our home style cooking with a modern twist.”
