A triathlon for children with disabilities will take place later this month.
Due to take place on 20 December at Cardiff’s National Indoor Athletics Centre, Bigmoose Supertri 2 will give disabled children the chance to take part in a sporting event.
The triathlon comprises a swim, cycle and a run, and every child that takes part will be assisted by at least one volunteer.
The event is the second this year to be held by the Bigmoose, a non-profit organisation that helps children with disabilities.
Organiser Chloe Smith said, “The Supertri is a great chance for disabled children to take part in physical activity in a controlled and safe environment. We’ve already signed up over 100 volunteers, so it should be a great event.”
