Cardiff Council are seeking the opinions of Grangetown residents as to whether or not they want a community hub in their area.
Similar community hubs have proved to be successful in other parts of city such as Loudoun Square in Butetown and the city centre Advice Hub at Marland House.
Councillor Lynda Thorne, cabinet member for communities, housing and social justice, said, “The hubs already up and running have been very successful and we are committed to extending this provision, investing in local neighbourhoods and improving face to face services for our customers.”
The community hub would be built as an extension of the library and would offer full library services and opportunities for learning, as well as providing advice for housing, benefits and job seekers.
