Dine Bangla received the Newcomer of the Year title at the recent Asian Food Awards, gaining the accolade despite being open for just three months. The event, held at the Mercure Hotel in Cardiff, recognised Asian restaurants from across Wales.
Rassel Miah of the Whitchurch Road restaurant said, “It was a surprise; we didn’t expect to win anything this early.”
Customers have commended the restaurant on its décor, service and atmosphere as well as the outstanding food. When questioned on the success Mr Miah added, “We have something for everyone’s tastes and are different to your everyday Indian.” With the menu containing a number of dishes that are not seen in many other Asian restaurants.
The establishment prides itself on the freshest ingredients, prepared by chefs with 30 years experience. If you do visit, why not try their trademark Tawa dish, recommended by Mr Miah himself and a dish that distinguishes Dine Bangla from many of its competitors.
